The works have now been rescheduled and is due to start on or shortly after 17 July 2017 for approximately seven months.
This will take place between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00, Monday to Friday. Some weekend working may be necessary to suit certain operations.
The schemes will entail a new uncontrolled crossing point outside of Eureka Café, installation of controlled crossing facilities at Two Mills Junction, widening existing right turn filter lanes and surfacing. As part of the cycle scheme and the new uncontrolled crossing point outside of Eureka Café, the existing bus stop will also be relocated to the other side of the Two Mills Junction.
In order to facilitate and carry out the works safely, temporary lane closures will be in place during the dates and times stated above. Please note that total closures of Two Mills junction will be required to enable surfacing works. Advance notification signage will be installed and further communication will be provided closer to the time.
Pedestrian provision will be maintained throughout the works. Works are subject to weather conditions therefore dates may change at short notice.
Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald (BBMM) will be delivering these works on Highways England’s behalf. (Highways England Customer Care team 0300 123 5000)
