SMALL GRANTS PROGRAMME (MAXIMUM £300)
For small one-off grants of up to £300, please complete and return the following application form. The closing date for applications to the programme is 10 MARCH 2017.
MAIN GRANTS PROGRAMME
The following documents are available to download from this page in order to help you with your application:
• Grant_Application Form*
• Grant Guidance Notes
• Grants Application Policy (this document explains the eligibility criteria)
• The Sample Funding Agreement that all successful grant applicants will be required to sign.
When completing the application form, please ensure that you refer to the guidance notes as these will help you to provide all the information required by the Grants Panel.
It is important that you complete all sections of the application form (do not just answer questions with “see attached”). Additional information can be attached to the application, but this must not be in place of answering the questions on the application form.
The Grants Panel meets twice a year. We will accept applications at any time and submit them to the next scheduled Panel meeting. The closing dates for submission of applications are 31 May and 15 November. Please ensure that applications are submitted in good time as late applications will not be considered until the following meeting.
Whilst we cannot give guidance on individual applications, we are able to offer advice on the application process and provide generic clarification on the application questions. If you have any queries, please contact Audrey Duncan on 0151 336 3840.
We look forward to receiving your completed application.
* Problems with saving fillable PDF forms:
Some users have reported a problem when saving fillable PDF forms to a different file name from the original. This occurs when using the “Save As” option from the file menu in Adobe PDF Reader. Users will sometimes get the error message “The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (23).” This applies to all fillable PDF forms, not just ours, and is a problem with more recent versions of Adobe Reader.
There are two ways around this problem:
1) Copy the file to a new name before you start, and always use “Save” rather than “Save As”.
2) In the Adobe Reader Preferences menu select “Documents”, then uncheck the box labeled “Save As optimises for Fast Web View”.
