The Mayor of Neston, Cllr Martin Barker, said today: “In response to the announcement by Cheshire West and Chester Council in relation to the development of one transit and five residential Gypsy and Traveller sites in the Borough, Neston Town Council will be discussing this issue at the next Full Council meeting on October 4th. The discussion will be in response to whatever decision is made by Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Executive meeting on September 7th.”
“Neston Town Council has previously informed CW&C that the view of the Planning & Environment Committee is that there are no suitable locations in the Neston area for Gypsy and Traveller sites.”
